Glenmuir Gives Lady Golfers Coolflex Fabric : 2010-02-05

Glenmuir, one of Europe’s leading golf apparel brands, has introduced the high-performance Coolflex fabric in its Ladies Collection for the first time.
The Lanark, Scotland company’s Spring/Summer 2010 range includes the new ‘Rebecca’ and ‘Amanda’ Performance Shaped-fit Shirts and both feature the specialist sports fabric – which is manufactured to deliver outstanding levels of comfort and performance.
Coolflex combines lightweight stretch cotton with a durable moisture-wicking finish that moves perspiration away from the body and the end result are two new shirts that keep lady golfers cool and dry on the course.
The ‘Rebecca’ is a 95% cotton 5% elastane pique polo that flexes with the body’s swing movements and delivers great moisture-wicking.
It features contrast body and side panels and placket piping, a self-fabric anti-curl collar and the smart Glenmuir ladies logo above the hem. The ‘Rebecca’ is available in sizes XS-XL, with an RRP of £33.95, and in White/Blue, Black/White and Paradise/White colour choices.
The ‘Amanda’ Performance Shirt boasts many of the same features, but with princess seams on the front body panels to enhance the shaped fit, with additional seam detail on the centre back and an extended five-button placket.
It is available in solid colours White, Lilac and Paradise, with an RRP of £33.95, and in sizes XS-XL.
Glenmuir’s Spring/Summer 2010 Ladies Collection features 263 product and colour combinations, giving fashion-conscious lady golfers the opportunity to select from co-ordinating polo shirts, performance shirts, fleeces, luxury lambswool, merino and cashmere knitwear, wind shirts, waterproofs, trousers, shorts, headwear and socks.
The company has introduced three carefully-selected new contemporary colour palettes for the season – ‘Blue Stone’ (three classic shades of blue combining with stone and white); ‘Lilac Haze’ (vibrant raspberry and lilac infused with black, white and stone); and ‘Paradise Mist’ (three cool greys mixing with paradise blue and white) – which feature across its entire range.
